**Your Role**:
As our Legal Assistant, you will support our legal team by managing essential tasks that help streamline our legal processes.
You'll assist with document preparation, client communication, and research, playing a crucial role in our daily operations.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Master and manage internal systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Handle communications with clients and maintain organized records.
- Organize and coordinate the filing of documents.
- Prepare documents and assist lawyers in drafting and reviewing.
- Draft title reports and coordinate payments.
- Fill out legal forms and follow up with clients and relevant parties.
- Prepare quotes and closing estimates for real estate transactions.
- Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of reports and legal advice.
- Schedule and manage meetings and calls with relevant parties.
- Aim to achieve and exceed set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
**Your Skills and Qualifications**:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish with excellent communication skills.
- Possess a college degree in law or related field.
- Experience in Civil and Foreign Investment Law, understanding various contracts and trusts.
- Proficient with technology, especially Apple Mac OS, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Asana.
- Known for punctuality, reliability, and a proactive, goal-oriented approach.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- 1-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a law firm, corporate legal department, or real estate legal department.
