We invite you to partner us as a:Legal Assistant**Requirements**:- Must have at least three (2) years office admin experience and some knowledge in the legal field. Must be a self-starter with a strong ability to multitask. Our office environment is upbeat and runs at a fast-paced tempo.- Able to read credit reports evaluate cases and judgments- Review and understand the legal language in contracts- Familiar with the court system and check cases with the court website and pacer to find updates with cases- Computer SavvyQualifications:- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and typing)- Strong over-the-phone negotiation skills- Strictly adhere to current federal and state collection laws (FDCPA, RFDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, HIPAA, etc.)- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Main Responsibilities and Duties:- Assisting department managers with whatever task is asked of him/her- Help develop cases by evaluating and preparing proper documentation for our legal director- Maintaining contact with people involved in the cases- Managing deadlines, preparing responses to oppose counsel- Keep clients updated by communicating case progress- Assigning accounts to attorneys and staying in communication to stay up to date with case statuses- Preparing outgoing mails- Handle incoming calls from debtors, clients and/or attorneys- Manage other 3 or 4 other employers on their daily tasks- Manage some billing, client services, data entry and general admin workWe Offer:- Net salary ranges from $ 12,000 to 18,000 MXN.
