As a Legal Associate - Government Contracts at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring legal compliance and providing support to our government contracting business. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of legal strategies, contracts, and policies, supporting ICON's mission to advance innovative treatments and therapies.What you will be doing:- Collaborating with internal teams to review, draft, and manage risk on contracts, RFPs and other legal documents.- Conducting legal research and analysis to support business initiatives and decision-making processes.- Providing guidance and support on legal issues, risk management, and compliance matters.- Utilizing team templates, resources, and know-how to analyze and report risk, and contributing to the incremental improvement of those resources- Prior experience in a role supporting Prime Awards (or lower tier contracts) with the US Federal Government, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.- Strong understanding of US Federal law, US Government contracting processes, and regulatory compliance.- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for task management and implementing and improving defined processes.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively
