Legal Counsel Business Operations Legal Team – Personal Care / LATAMWork Level: 3XJOB LOCATION: Bosques, México CityRELOCATION TERMS: Local Terms only.Business ContextUnilever's Business Operations (UBO) organisation is a global operation consisting of key areas including supply chain, technology, data management, and sustainable sourcing.This is a level 3 (legal director) role, and as such comes with significant scopes of responsibility, including the management and supervision of external and internal legal supports.Where you will fit in:Member of the global UBO Legal team.Mentoring of junior colleagues in the Unilever Powerhouse legal team.Reporting to the GC UBO and dotted reporting to the Personal Care GC (both based in London).Business partner with the Personal Care Supply Chain LT and LATAM procurement, supply chain, and customer operations colleagues.Cooperating with country lawyers and various legal specialists.Attendance in a Unilever office will be required within our flexible working policies and guidelines.What you will do – the Scopes of Work:You will support primarily the teams listed above, as legal business partner, including:As Personal Care UBO Legal business partner:Supporting the Personal Care business group's supply chain and related needs.As UBO Legal business partner to the LATAM region:Managing LATAM-focused logistics and warehouse services projects.Handling LATAM-focused contract manufacturing contracts.Overseeing LATAM capex initiatives.Supporting GHG and sustainability initiatives.Managing international sales of materials and/or goods contracts.Success factors:Has an academic degree in Law and a current bar qualification, with 15+ years of experience in legal advisory and drafting work.Experience in commercial law disciplines, including complex contracting, sustainability, and policy-writing/review.Fluent in English (+ Spanish and/or Portuguese) for drafting and legal advisory work.Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects effectively.Willingness to work flexible hours for effective communication with global team members.The job scope for this role is inherently dynamic and varied, responding as needed to major events.Unilever is committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity to drive business results and create a better future for our employees, consumers, partners, and communities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
