QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Law, Master's preferred in areas related to corporate law

A minimum of 5 years experience

Bilingual in Spanish and English, both verbal and written

Ability to translate legal concepts into practical, actionable advice

Excellent verbal and written skills

Knowledge of civil, mercantile, and labor Mexican legislation

Experience drafting and reviewing contracts

Experience providing labor counseling

Ability to work independently while managing multiple work assignments under tight timeframes

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Structuring, drafting, reviewing, and analyzing agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.

Give accurate and timely counsel.

Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies.

Responding to external/internal comments while ensuring required legal terms are reflected in a contract.

Collaborating with peers and leaders in legal, HR and purchase departments to ensure project and deal outcomes align with proprieties.

Understanding and staying current with industry trends and the legal and regulatory landscape of the business

Monitoring and assisting in revising and updating standard agreements, templates, and tools for our internal business partners.

Research and evaluate different risk factors.

Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.

Supporting other commercial practice areas within BRP as the need may arise since BRP is constantly evolving
