Our diverse teams enable us to become a better partner to our customers and help us to fulfill our mission to advance and improve patients' lives.The Role:As Legal Counsel on the Ethics & Compliance team, you will lead the ethics and compliance program in LATAM and support the global team on managing compliance operations.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for ethics and compliance in LATAM, including anti-bribery, healthcare compliance, trade compliance, and anti-money laundering matters.Conduct employee and vendor training, develop materials, and monitor progress.Support internal investigations and legal regulatory requests in the LATAM region.Build relationships with regional business leads to address compliance issues.Lead and manage global compliance operations, including policy management, training, communications, and audit preparation.Provide legal advice on compliance-related issues, including contract reviews and third-party escalations.Collaborate on global compliance initiatives and assist in monitoring and reporting on compliance controls.Qualifications:3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a lawyer.Proven experience in ethics and compliance operations.Strong understanding of legal and regulatory concepts, including anti-bribery, trade sanctions, and anti-money laundering.Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a global team and across time zones.Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with sound judgment under pressure.Preferred Experience:Background in multinational companies, financial services, banking, or highly regulated industries.CRO/Life science experience with a legal compliance background.Experience with private Mexican law firms.Benefits of Working in ICON:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
