**About the job**
RHI Magnesita seeks a motivated Legal Counsel Professional to join its North American legal team!
The Legal Counsel Professional will be responsible for reviewing contracts, compliance issues, corporate documents, and general assistance to different departments such as People and Culture
The individual will report directly to the Head of Legal and Public Affairs for North America
**The Legal Counsel Professional's tasks include**:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and analyze a broad range of commercial contracts including master service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, vendor, and supply agreements
- Assist company in labor and employment matters, including union relations
- Monitor changes state and federal laws impacting the business, advising the Company on the same
- Provide ongoing and proactive strategic advice on contract interpretation, including warranty, indemnity, termination rights and other potential dispute issues
- Manage litigation portfolio in Mexico
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Human Resources, and Operations, to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and operations
- Provide support for RHIM's code of conduct, anti-corruption, and other corporate policies
**About you**
Do you have:
- Law Degree
- Valid license and authorization to practice law in Mexico
- 2- 5 years practicing in a law firm setting handling commercial and/or labor & employment matters and/or in-house for a corporation
- Fluent in English in addition to Spanish
- Experience in labor and employment matters
- Experience reviewing commercial contracts
- Ability to travel to the United States at least once per year
- Ability to travel to RHI Magnesita plants in Ramos Arizpe and Tlanepantla
