**Your team responsibilities**

Financial accounting and reporting for MSCI's Americas legal entities, including the US, Canada,

Mexico and Brazil, and will play a significant role in MSCI's financial reporting processes both at a

regional and global level

**Your key responsibilities**
- Prepare, review and/or enter journal entries into the company's ERP, mainly related to

prepaid expenses and accruals.
- Participate in month-end, quarterly, annual closings for corporate reporting in line with

the group and local timetables.
- Assist in the preparation of the company's subsidiary financial statements.

Support/coordinate internal and external audits.
- Perform reconciliations of cash, payroll, prepaid expense, accrued expense and other

balance sheet accounts and coordinate resolution of discrepancies.
- Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis.
- Participate in projects impacting legal entities, Controller processes or Finance systems

with a view to transforming the Company's Finance processes through technology

automation (e.g., RPA).
- Participate in forecasting of cash and benefits expense, professional fees, and transfer

pricing.
- Assist as necessary in the calculation and booking of the tax provision for certain non-US

entities in the Americas region, as well as liaising with third party tax preparers on the
- preparation of tax returns for such entities.

**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- 2- 4 years of finance and accounting experience.
- Understanding of operational accounting, including monthly close process
- Process improvement and automation experience helpful.
