Join us and be at the forefront of this innovative journey!Your Tasks – Paint the world greenDevelop and implement legal and compliance policies and procedures for Flix in MexicoProvide legal advice on contracts, intellectual property, employment law, litigation, and other legal mattersEnsure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection, labor laws, and intellectual property lawsManage external legal counsel and oversee legal proceedings and disputesNegotiate and draft contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partnersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all business operationsConduct legal research and analysis to address emerging legal issues and develop proactive strategiesDevelop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of legal and compliance requirementsCoordinate with Flix legal counsel in other jurisdictions to assist with global compliance effortsServe as a key interface to central, regional, and local transport authorities in MexicoPrepare and apply for permissions from authorities to operate regular bus linesSupport the modification and acquisition of line concessions, particularly in MexicoManage station contracts, identify new bus stop locations, and negotiate with regional authoritiesSupport the Customer Service department with legal topics and assist the Finance department with vendor contractsPlay an integral role in the revolution of the mobility market in MexicoYour Profile – Ready to hop on boardBachelor's degree in law, a Master's degree is preferred10 plus years' experience in corporate law, intellectual property, and regulatory complianceExperience leading legal department in start-up environment, fast pace moving industriesKnowledge and or experience in mobility and or transport local regulations is a must (transport preferable).Strong knowledge of Mexican laws and regulations (including data protection, compliance, labor laws, and intellectual property laws).Proven track record of managing legal and compliance matters for a large organization.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including public authorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex legal and compliance issues.Structured, pro-active work style with a strong attention to detail
