Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires EXCELLENT oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English or they will not be reviewed.Position OverviewIn a fast paced, high expectation, results oriented environment, the Legal Operations Analyst will support the Head of Legal Operations in overseeing all U.S. legal and regulatory matters in connection with the company's origination of short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans.Essential FunctionsMonitor legal and regulatory aspects of the loan origination processLiaise and collaborate internally with relevant departments, and externally with applicants, title companies, outside counsel (for the company or the applicant), etc.Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirementsMaintain current knowledge of all applicable rules and regulationsProvide required legal advice and guidancePrepare and review loan documents and/or supporting documentsReview title reports/commitmentsPrepare and review agreements with business referral partnersUnderstand and adhere to time-sensitive deadlinesDevelop, prepare, update and revise applicable policies and proceduresConduct post-closing loan reviewsAddress origination related matters in coordination with the post-closing asset resolution process for non-performing loansOther projects and duties as assignedRequirementsLaw degree3-8 years' work experience in commercial loan origination; real estate collateralized and in the U.S. preferredWorking knowledge of U.S. federal and state commercial lending laws, rules, regulations, licensing requirements, and laws, rules, regulations governing U.S. financial institutions preferredWorking knowledge of real property recording systems and real property chain of title matters throughout the U.S. preferredExcellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and computer skillsExcellent English fluency, both written and verbalStrong legal research skillsAble to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDetail-oriented and resourceful with excellent follow-through skillsProficient in all Microsoft Office and Adobe applicationsAble to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally#J-18808-Ljbffr
