We are looking for a Leisure Sales Manager to join the opening SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, All-Inclusive Collection based in Cancun.
Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS, is currently undertaking a magnificent all-inclusive project in the oasis that is Playa Mujeres, just north of Cancun, Mexico. Opening is planned for this November 2024.

Job Description
The Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for proactively generating new business, provides account management for new and existing accounts and works with other sales team members to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals. Will also be responsible for the preparation and execution of action plans, negotiation of rates/contracts and qualifying customers.
What you'll do... Lead hotel's sales efforts with key leisure market accounts Obtain up to 50-75 new key-prospects, on a weekly basis Builds client base through outside sales calls, sales blitzes, cold calling, prospecting, direct mail, networking, and referrals. Manage day to day customer support with key agency accounts Maintain prospect, independently solicit and book business, focus on customer relationships to achieve optimum market share Identify and pursue prospective transient business from free market information, as well as information from purchased lead sources, analyzing historical and other statistical information (market segment, account mix goals), participating in conducting customer interviews and preparing customer call analysis report Identifies gap periods (30/60/90 days & beyond), recommends targeted sales & marketing Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the CRS system and GDS system Maintain product knowledge at all times including all relevant rate structures and promotional offers Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives confirming reservations by letter and drawing up contracts; sign for the hotel and obtain customer signature to close the transaction Upon closing, coordinate and follow-up with other hotel departments to ensure delivery of superior guest service As directed, compile and input market intelligence information to the Sales Information Management System Conducts site tours and represent the hotel at trade shows, promotional and business events, focusing on all markets, local and national Maintains effective involvement with key community organizations Achieve established room nights and revenue as outlined by the agreed upon goals Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service. We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum three (3) years of sales experience in similar sized operation required, preferably in an upscale and/or lifestyle brand hotel or luxury resort All-inclusive experience strongly preferred Must have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, catering sales, conference service and marketing management experience, guest relations and etiquette Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English. Basic understanding of legal contract language Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values A proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook You're a strong team leader, a natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them. You combine analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution-focused approach. You have a solid understanding of local legal compliance requirements.
