Job Summary:The Loss Drafts Associate lll is responsible for performing loss draft and property damage requirements including processing documents, ordering and reviewing inspections, working loss draft queues and evaluating exceptions. This role supports borrowers and contractors by providing detailed information on how to progress a claim file, de-escalate calls and process complaints, and handle disbursement of claim funds.Key Responsibilities:- Follows standard procedural guidelines for performing tasks- Responds to written and verbal customer requests, inquiries in a timely and professional manner- Validates documents pertaining to claim- Orders and reviews inspection results- Requests claim funds when applicable- Updates records and note system- Backs up as needed to meet client requirements and SLA's- Verifies claim check deposits- Processes draws/draw approvals and payee header requests for claims- Assists with cross training inbound representatives on borrower follow up queue- Assists Workforce Management chat monitoring and help desk chatsSupervisory Responsibilities:This job does not have supervisory dutiesPreferred Qualifications:Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent experience- 1 or more years of experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations- NoneFunctional Skills- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written- Analytical skills- Ability to follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks attentively and thoroughly- Ability to utilize established procedures to guide decision-makingNational General prides itself on offering our employees a robust Total Rewards package which includes base salary.
