**The Role**

We are looking for a **Lending Business Specialist** to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech. At Clip He/She will play a critical part in helping the lending business to thrive, reaching the goals and participation in the Clip ecosystem.

The Lending Business Specialist will collaborate with various teams to optimize lending processes and contribute to the overall success of our lending operations.

**What will I be doing?**
- Financial analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Data analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to inform lending decisions.
- Utilize statistical methods to identify patterns and correlations in data.
- Risk Management: Oversee credit risk assessment, underwriting, and due diligence processes to maintain a healthy loan portfolio.
- Monitor and adjust risk policies as necessary to mitigate potential losses.
- Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative lending products tailored to the needs of small businesses.
- Ensure that lending products are competitive, compliant, and meet market demand.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on all relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to small business lending.
- Ensure lending practices adhere to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on lending performance, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Relationship Management:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriters, finance, and compliance, to streamline lending processes.
- Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

**Technical**:

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to establish and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Sound financial acumen and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services products, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
- Experience working with large datasets and utilizing databases and data warehouses.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market dynamics
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Actuary or a related field.
- +2 years of experience and proven track record of success in developing and executing business strategies, preferably in the Fintech or traditional Banking industry.
- Knowledge of lending products (financial analytics), including risk analysis, underwriting, and regulatory compliance in the Mexican market (preferable).
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
