Roles and Responsibilities Asses existing platforms and tools for suitability for a 1mm+ customer Lending business.Scope includes origination platform, decision engine, loan management system, and collections tools as well as connectivity to adjacent systems and data sources.Develop a technology strategy for Lending that enhances quality and speed of decision making, effectiveness and capabilities of loan systems, and quality of customer experiences.Track and project cost & resource intensiveness of maintaining enabling technology platforms for Lending.In partnership with IT organization assess new technologies and facilitate RFPs.Develop requirements for technology changes and on behalf of Lending be the customer for internal resources and external vendors who will implement them.Lead by example in promoting agile, adaptive, and high-quality work practices.Analyze and redesign loan origination processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness to changing business needs.Lead and integrate colleagues from Risk function who will be transitioned into Lending to Cultivate an organizational culture that reflects the company values, fosters innovation and inclusion, and improves the employee experience.Direct report into Head of Lending; member of Lending leadership team.Requirements 9+ years of experience in technology, ideally with a focus on consumer lending.Expert at developing business requirements, and able in partnership with IT to craft technical specifications and design documents.Experienced at being 'customer' for technology implementation projects, being close to development resources (architects, developers, QA) and able to make trade-offs on scope-cost-quality when needed.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.Affinity for and comfort with data.Passion for continuous improvement and agile mindset.Vocation for customer service.Good at maintaining sustainable work-life balance.
