Contractor shall provide temporary/relief services, on an as-needed basis, to the State of California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet). Contractor shall provide services for the benefit and care of residents at the Veterans Home of California - Redding (Home) located at 3400 Knighton Road, Redding, CA 96002. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, staff, transportation, license, permits and every other item of expense necessary, unless otherwise stated. For purposes of this Agreement, the State designee must be a civil service employee. Services shall be provided at the Home.**Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN)**a. Minimum of twelve (12) months of experience within the last three (30 years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution.**The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)**b. Organize, provide, and maintain necessary health care services consistent with CalVet policies and procedures; B. Plan and implement nursing care. This includes administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, disease prevention, physicians' orders, as well as obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.C. Participate as a member of the Inter-disciplinary team in developing multi-disciplinary treatment efforts; complete assigned weekly summaries, formulate care plans, assist and participate as a member of the Inter-Disciplinary Team in developing multi-disciplinary treatment efforts; complete assigned weekly summaries, formulate care plans, assist physicians with rounds; note and institute physician orders.D. Collect information regarding patient status and report the results to the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or RN in a timely manner; E. Provide Resident education and accurately document care in the approved format; F. Assist mental health professionals by contributing to the treatment planning process and the formal evaluation of Resident progress by monitoring and recording observed patient behavior; G.
