Provides support and improvement of manufacturing processes throughout the facility.
Activities performed include Industrial and Process Improvement Engineering (lean manufacturing processes), to ensure the volume and productivity levels committed in Class "A" metrics, reliability of manufacturing processes, ergonomic considerations for a safe and continuous operations, risk-free to the operators; on-time delivery of products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the optimum manning required for Operation based on demand and focused on the efficiency (Labor Productivity)Responsible & Accountable for IE department, human resources, process, and resultsWorks directly with production supervisors and manufacturing engineers in a team environment for problem solving, buy-in and support of new processes.Managed all the IE processImplementation & promotion of lean manufacturing tools, 5 S's, Visual Factory, Poka Yokes design, KAIZEN, KANBAN, TPM, DFP, PDCA, DMAIC, SMED and other initiatives, to continuously improve upon our own records.Managed Workstations design and transformation (Layout)Managed Standardized documentation IE forms, work instructions, process flow diagrams and procedures.Managed Time studies, capacity analysis & line balanceLeading Cost reduction projects MEX/CEP5 initiatives.Managed Production associates Trainer & New Personnel training helper.Participate in Equipment and machinery installation assistance.Managed Tooling and fixtures design, including tooling and fixtures control.Managed Pilot run & new models launch supporting.Leading Ergonomic analysis with Susan Rodger, RULA, REBA, NIOSH, or any other ergonomic tool.Responsible for applying all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/Green Spirit according to the position.Among responsibilities the following environmental information is included, designated but not limited to: Knowledge and comprehension of the plant's environmental policy, including the established environmental goals, knowing, and identifying the environmental aspects and impacts on the area or process to perform, focusing on continuous improvement and keeping operational goals, identifying, and segregating chemical residues and materials.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS degree in Industrial or Manufacturing, Production or related.5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)Fluent English levelPREFERED QUALIFICATIONS Significant experience in cross-functional manufacturing processes and thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles.Excellent communication skills and unique ability to provide direction on technical and complex issues to non-technical personnel in a manner that is fully understood and supported.Experience in following up on several projects at the same time and deadlines, with a track record of successfully completing projects on time.History of successful experience in the development of high-performance work teams including establishing training and development processes.Computer literate including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Experience in uptime improvements, scrap reductions process and ownership of area form and processes delivery standpoint.Preplanner knowledge and experience as a plus.Ability to work under pressure, analytical, and problem solver.
