Overview / Responsibilities: Wood México in his project office is currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer with experience in the Cement Industry. The Lead will support the team of mechanical engineers. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scope of work, deliverables planning, workload planning, man-hour estimating, managing engineering budgets and schedules, reporting of progress and technical direction of the team. Involvement in mechanical engineering activities including preparation of technical specifications, bid evaluations, vendor liaison and vendor drawing reviews for mechanical equipment packages, performing engineering calculations; Preparation/review of technical reports, layouts and arrangement drawings.Skills / Qualifications:**Key Responsibilities**:- Providing technical guidance and oversight to mechanical engineers and designers on the project- Review quality of work, schedule and budgets for the mechanical team- Coordinate with various stakeholders including other disciplines, project management team, clients to facilitate smooth flow of information.- Participate in design reviews on various projects and provide technical input.- Monitor project progress and provide timely input on performance of the team.- Provide mechanical input on proposals including scope definitions, man-hour estimates and schedule developmentsAdditional Requirements- English level Intermediate -Advance- Mechanical Degree with minimum 10 years of expirence engineeringCompany Overview:Wood es un líder mundial en ingeniería y consultoría en energía y entorno construido, que ayuda a desbloquear soluciones para algunos de los desafíos más críticos del mundo.
