.Under general direction and in conformance with compliance policies, procedures and objectives, the role is focused on documentation tasks for shipments and service providers, daily operational reports, and general cargo status (mainly Overseas shipments).

Provides analysis, counsel, advice, and recommendations where appropriate to assist plants in achieving goals and objectives.As a member of the traffic team, you will supervise, manage, and carry out import and export operations in full compliance with the law and authorities.The position requires a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of requests, quickly mediate between competing priorities, and work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and business management both within and across reporting relationships, business units and geographic regions.RESPONSIBILITIES:Business Management- Resolves problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, recommending action in conjunction with the traffic team.- End to end logistics up to MX Port + customs clearance process for Overseas CAM Exports.- End to end logistics up to Ciudad Hidalgo + customs clearance process.- Ciudad Hidalgo Warehouse Operation.- End to end logistics from pickup at origin up to final destination in MX + customs clearance for all Overseas Imports.- Customs clearance process for poly pellets.- Audits and encourages process from customs brokers.- Coordinate with internal customers to reduce the risk/impact of logistic changes in the current global market, such as rolled ships, change of freight forwarder, customer projects and demand swings.- Responsible to communicate any change and other adjustments that might directly affect a customer, in writing, to the appropriate audience and follow through.- Request insight and feedback on demand and forecast trends to the Demand Planning and Sales teams.- Analyzes shipments, monitors correct loading, and adjusts errors in company systems.- Audit import/export invoices, verify that the information is complete, that the harmonized codes are adequate for the products.- Assigned to projects that require critical thinking and a good understanding of overall Clarios Operations.- Analyzes customer orders and sales forecasts to prepare shipment plan.- Uses knowledge of products, product availability, sales territories, and individual customers to assure highest level of product delivery and customer satisfaction.- Plans and directs the activities for which responsible such as shipping paperwork, loading scheduling with plants and freight forwarders.- Responsible for expense reports.
Maintains contact with traffic team members to insure uninterrupted flow of information.
