**Job Description Summary**: With guidance of experienced engineers conduct Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) Analysis supporting the design, analysis, test, field investigation, qualification/certification and life extension of life limited rotor components. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There are standard procedures and design practices that need to be followed to guarantee accuracy, adequacy and consistency of life analysis.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- With guidance from experienced Engineers, conduct life analysis for components.
- Learn the tools used (SIESTA, ANSYS, HYPERMESH) in life analysis and become proficient in their use.
- Cultivate skills in rotor life analysis, knowledge of life analysis best practices, process templates and design practices
- Understand technical criteria controlling Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and Fracture Mechanics (FM) for each critical location on the assigned hardware. Develop Basic understanding of the materials, thermal, performance, mission, stress factors that impact LCF Analysis and FM
- Create and deliver technical reviews and other presentations, close out action items and complete all required documentation and file archiving
- Provide support for global partners
- With guidance from experienced Engineers, execute the analysis, test, and qualification of rotor components as part of new product introduction (NPI) programs or life update programs.
- Perform LCF and residual life analyses
- Iterate analysis as needed to meet technical/customer requirements
- Write qualification/certification reports, deliver results to Systems and Project and provide communication to counterparts/customers
- Coordinate with technical teams as needed including heat transfer, materials, stress analysis, performance, methods and mission analysis groups
- Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- English skills: Must be able to maintain a conversation.

**Eligibility Requirement**:
Mexican nationality is required for this position due to regulatory matters.
