Job Title: Sr. Clearance SpecialistLocation: Carretera Estatal 200 Querétaro Tequisquiapan #200 Aeropuerto Intercontinental Querétaro 76295 Querétaro, QUE MexicoGeneral Job Description:Under limited supervision performs the following activities:Prepares necessary customs forms to enable import, export and transshipments procedures to take place in a timely, efficient and effective manner for consignments arriving/departing via aircraft, including master airway bills, cargo manifests, general declarations, invoices and other related paperwork.Prepares forms detailing customs duties, tariffs and taxes/V.A.T. fees to enable timely recovery of costs.Prepares international manifests to ensure responsive and efficient customs clearance.Ensures station's full compliance with country customs and tax laws and in line with FedEx policies, procedures, practices and rules.Interfaces with customs officials and coordinates customs activities with internal operation employees.Contacts customers for additional information and to inform them on duties and taxes to be paid.Maintains all customs documentation well organized and properly filed.Performs sorting, baggage support at airport and station and retrieves air freight from carriers as required.Pulls copy of AWBS of overages to ensure adjustment.May be required to perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Minimum Education:
- High School degree/Equivalent.
- Proficient in English (TOEIC 600 points).Minimum Experience:
- Four (4) years in international freight/cargo customs policies, procedures, rules and laws.
- Demonstrated experience of airport and customs clearance procedures required.
- Driver's license.Minimum Required Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- General office skills.
- Computer literate.
