This role is essential in ensuring efficient transportation, on-time deliveries, and the optimization of shipment processes.Key Responsibilities:Process customer orders, plan, and optimize shipments into loads.Tender freight to third-party carriers and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with current shipment details.Communicate detailed instructions to customers and internal associates through phone and email.Track shipments and provide real-time visibility to management and internal stakeholders.Perform auditing, troubleshooting, and researching of operational issues, providing solutions where necessary.Maintain daily logs and trackers for all shipments and loads.Identify cost-saving opportunities to improve Yazaki Logistics operations.Coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries, monitor truck movements, and recover loads if needed.Investigate and report on load exceptions and other issues.Evaluate alternative financial decisions and act accordingly.Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Foreign Trade, Business, or related field.Certifications: Fluent English is required.Experience: 2-4 years of experience in expedite shipments or supply chain management.Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Strong focus on customer service.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment and handle time-sensitive tasks.Proficient in using various computer systems and platforms, including Word, Excel, and TMS.Ability to work across different shifts (first, second, third) as required.Languages: Advanced Spanish and English.Technical Skills: SAP TMS experience is required.Travel Requirements: Valid visa and passport are mandatory.Work Schedule: Flexibility with shift work is essential.
