Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Local IT Manager to join our team in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Local IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and driving technological innovation within our organization.
Lead and manage the local IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluationsDevelop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectivesOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systemsManage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budgetCollaborate with global IT teams to standardize processes and implement best practicesDevelop and manage IT budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectivenessEnsure compliance with local IT regulations and industry standardsImplement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect organizational data and systemsManage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipmentStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements as neededProvide regular reports on IT performance, projects, and initiatives to senior managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in IT management roles, with a proven track record of successful project implementationsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and developing IT teamsExtensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurityProficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills in both Spanish and EnglishRelevant IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL, PMP) are preferredUnderstanding of local IT regulations and compliance requirements in MexicoAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technological landscapesStrong vendor management and negotiation skills
