Local Purchaser

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Work with project management to establish project procurement strategy and budget.
- Coordinate with logistics team to monitor delivery schedules and manage inventory levels.
- Manage the bidding process, including soliciting bids, preparing bid documents, and evaluating bids.
- Work with accounting team to resolve payment disputes and ensure compliance with invoicing requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Experience working with construction materials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
