GENERAL DESCRIPTION
To lead the Logistics Engineering team to work with internal logistics and ensure processes are designed, implemented, followed, and improved taking into consideration H&S recommendations and the operation efficiency. Additionally, to lead the logistics engineering team to work with BRP's supplier network to determine std pack and dimensions of packaging for new processes according to BRP needs.
Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for talent development and to ensure the department of Logistics Engineering meets and is aligned to BRP goals. Prepare and manage department's budget and ensure OPEX, ODC, and CAPEX are under control according to BRP strategy.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Administration
- 5 years of experience in related field or similar
- Experience supervising and leading teams
- Bilingual (English, Spanish), both oral and written

**SECCIÓN IV**: PRINCIPALES TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES
- To lead material handling efficiency and warehouse layout
- Responsible of process optimization in the Logistics Department. Additionally, ensure department goals are met for PSP/DMAIC/OPS, IDEAs
- Influence and ensure the relationship inside engineering team and with internal logistics team is according to BRP expectations. Additionally, ensure a win-win relationship with other departments and BRP suppliers.
- Ensure all part numbers are codified correctly on SAP master data to avoid downtime, loss of efficiency, wrong space calculations, etc.
- Manage, buy, assign, dispose, and influence a correct maintenance and proper use on mobile equipment and warehouse racking
- Oversee manpower calculation is performed accordingly for budget and operation purposes
- Propose, design, and obtain budget approvals to implement cost-saving projects based on returnable packaging. Ensure packaging fleet is complete and in proper condition.
- Prepare budget previsions and ensure proper follow-up. Ensure financial OPEX, ODC, and CAPEX are under control according to BRP goals. Open CAAR request and ensure a correct follow-up. Coordinate auxiliary projects.
- To lead the Logistics Engineering team to performs activities related to H&S (preventive, corrective, ergonomic, etc.)
- Show leadership and commitment to establish, maintain and improve the Quality Management system
- Promote the continuous improvement and the customer focus.
- Responsible for coordinating engineering changes, management information reports, and statistical data as required
- Ensure implementation and follow up BRPMS initiatives
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department manager.
- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
- Comply with the safety rules determined according to your function.
- Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.
- Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
