Logistic Flows Analyst

Valeo is a tech global company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent the mobility.We are an automotive supplier partner to automakers and new mobility actors worldwide.Our vision?Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions.We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.Contribute to the design, implementation and improvement of:- Transportation, warehousing and external logistic service activities- Custom and duties process- Upstream and downstream transportation timetablesContribute to the transportation and external logistic service activities budget and cost reduction plan and follow-up.- Troubleshoot problems and implement counter-measures and solutions to maintain the continuity of the productionflows.Contribute to the design, implementation and improvement of the external flows :- Analyze flows of materials, inventory and scheduling processes to accelerate the physical flows.- Propose, evaluate, direct the design, development, and/or improvement of tools, equipment, and/ortransportation/storage processes for an assigned area.- Implement, control and manage the visual reorder system and or pull flow system.- Provide technical support for specific plant operations (Layout, new project, value stream analysis...).- Design transportation processes within timeframe and budget parameters.- Support activities to achieve and maintain the Quality Standards and the safety standards.- Actively participate in and support the implementation of the Valeo Production System (VPS).Contribute the budget and costs reduction plan and follow up of the external flows activities :- Participate in negotiation with carriers companies in co-ordination with Purchasing- Propose logistics protocols with suppliers in co-operation with Supply Chain schedulers and Purchasing.- Meet the Carriers contacts on a regular basis (once a quarter at least).- Provide data for transportation indicators and analysis for follow up costs and budget building.- Measure the costs of transportation for each inbound and outbound flow.Propose action plans to reduce the costs.Job:Logistic Flows AnalystOrganization:Supply Chain CIM - JSchedule:Full timeEmployee Status:RegularJob Type:Local + contractJob Posting Date:2024-04-08
