About the Role Provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for supply chain management activities.
What You Will Do Assisting in communicating with procurement, material planning, inventory, distribution to minimize cost and improve efficiency. Providing technical support and assistance on supply chain management. Inputting data into supply chain application system; maintaining the system on a regular basis. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on supply chain operation. Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage organization's materials, commodities, merchandises, or products.
Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.
Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.
Vendor Management: Knowledge of vendor management methodologies, technologies and processes; ability to gain increased value and excellent services from vendors, as well as costs control and risk mitigation throughout the deal life cycle.
