What will you do?
Represents the interests of the Project Management on site to the customer, regulatory authorities, and consultants.
Coordinates, communicates, and maintains all dates and information from the project site to ensure accurate, on-schedule, and economical processing with optimized supply regarding customer needs.
Ensures information regarding disposition of goods during transport and permanently updates this information to create options for alternative actions by informing all involved parties in a timely manner.
Creates deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability based on the needs of the customer supply concept to provide an assured data and information base.
Documents and processes complaints or transport damages with responsible partners (Project Logistics Manager, Project Purchase, Insurance) to secure any recourse claims and to take further measures.
Acts as the interface to involved external logistics providers on the project site and coordinates their activities, ensuring cost-efficient and seamless operations.
Initiates and coordinates the erection, operation, and return of the logistic infrastructure and equipment on the building site to guarantee compliant, cost-efficient, and smooth construction site logistics.
Supports the Project Logistics Manager with the development, calculation, and implementation of logistics contingency measures during short-term variances from the planned supply concept to ensure optimized supply related to the current conditions.
Supports the Project Logistics Manager with the concluding project evaluation and advancement of the project-specific process of customer supply to ensure high transparency over the whole supply process in the project and to gain input for the enhancement of future projects related to customer supply.
Reports to the project logistics manager and leads own supply chain personnel on the project site.
What will you need to succeed?
Knowledge of production processes in the metal/electrical industry is required.
Knowledge of SAP System, Python, and C-Sharp or similar programming languages, including database server and information connections between one or several applications.
Big data analyst.
Scrum process knowledge.
Organized, problem-solving, analytical, and focused on results.
Intermediate English level.
