Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
The International Logistics Analyst will be support to the Materials supervisor to comply with all Logistics and transportation requirements on the Eaton's imports-exports, observing all the time the applicable Legislation and internal logistics.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
- Coordinate the transportation, import and export processes regarding Logistics operations (dealing with carriers, seafreight and airfreight lines, freight forwarders and brokers) in order to assure on time delivery of material in compliance with law requirements.
- Implement cost-out and cost-avoidance projects related to transportation and logistics.
- Keep record of Premium Freight expense (Monthly record, accruals and account reconciliation)
- Pursuit involved areas on minimizing premium freight to zero
- Keep record of Regular freight, provide Finance with freight forecasts and accruals in a monthly basis
- Keeps record of outbound parcel expense
- Follow up all import/export transactions and have internal customers daily informed of dates, changes and status of shipments
- Issues a daily shipment in transit report
- Provide quotations and freight rates for specific shipments, projects or premium freights.
- Supporting on CTPAT / OEA certification compliance.
- Uploading evidence of logistics processes to CTPAT portal.
- Validates in transit inventory report for month end.
- Reviewing the carrier fees invoices. Makes an internal audit on the freight invoicing
- Controlling costs according the profit plan and internal forecast
**Qualifications**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Degree qualification in foreign Trade, International Trade, Logistics or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment, automotive preferred
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system, ORACLE as a plus
- Proficiency in Supply Chain, Customs law, CTPAT, OEA (AEO) and local customs law.
- English Language (80% at least)
