Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you as a Logistics Analyst will be executing site related logistics for developing and improving costs and processes at Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras. About the job. Coordinate the material flow in and out of the cross dock, ensuring the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.Ensure completion of all required documentation that is not provided by Piedras Negras and maintain all data and related records to inbound and outbound shipments.Research and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies, i.E., shortages, overages, damages, and file claims with respective carriers.Determine root cause for expedites/deviations, discuss with responsible party and act as change agent for measurable improvements.Coordinate customer pickups with traffic team and warehouse receiving personnel to ensure correct carrier is used.Audit On Time Service response of forwarders, including timely monitoring of shipments both inbound and outbound.Manage service upgrades for late shipments as a result of border crossing delays and assist in booking pickups for suppliers who cannot book on their side.Reroute materials shipped incorrectly.Act as direct backup for Logistics Supervisor.Location: Piedras Negras. About You. High School education or equivalent; college preferred.At least 2 years of experience in any of these areas: Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping, Inventory Control.WMS experience (desired).Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.SAP experience is a plus.Two or more years of supervisory experience.Bilingual (Spanish-English).Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in both English and Spanish.
