.We are hiring a**Logistics Analyst** todevelop and implement logistics plans that may affect the distribution and inventory of finished products in order to improve product flow.**What You Will Be Doing**- You will drive and implements distribution, shipment planning, and sales services projects and initiatives aimed at improving the customer delivery experience and reducing costs.- This analyst may assist in developing and documenting planning guidelines and ensures compliance for existing and new businesses.- You work with distribution management to research, make recommendations, and assist with implementation to enable continuous improvement.- Serve as a guide in shipment planning logistics processes and procedures and may use that expertise as the function's expert and liaison with IT in the entire order management functionality of SAP.- You may test improvements, upgrades and other implementations and maintain SAP as it relates to shipment planning and transportation and assist in others in keeping current with the changes.- You will perform shipment planning, track, and trace activities in order to ensure loads' optimization and guarantee on time delivery.At Steelcase, we know that work matters and can provide people with a deep sense of purpose. We will continue to maintain this practice as part of our larger hybrid work strategy.While flexibility varies by role and team, we support choice and control for our employees so they can choose the best place to do their best work.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics.- Advanced written and oral English is a must.- Intermediate - advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables/formulas/macros) is a must.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Deep understanding SAP Sales, Distribution and Warehouse functionality is preferred.- You do know about distribution process, including supply chain, planning, scheduling, finance, manufacturing, FDC and RDC logistics.- You got strong and creative problem-solving skills- Basic project management and analysis skills- You can communicate effectively with various levels in organization.- You are able to build external relationships (TMS and other distribution planning software providers)
