In the traditional project management approach of "Plan – Execute – Monitor and Control", the NMC focuses on 'monitor and control' using data, dashboards, and exception management techniques to establish, maintain, and achieve company and customer specific KPIs.Communication, data competency, and exception management form the bedrock of customer service for logistics coordinators in the NMC. Communication that is timely, clear, and professional is core to the service offerings supported by the GNMC. Data competency, and the ability to evaluate data for its quality and completeness, is crucial to ensuring that you and your team are well-equipped to perform essential duties for the customer or for our network. Finally, exception management occurs when a coordinator takes data competency and communication together and uses them to resolve in-transit exceptions before the customer is affected.Logistics Analysts will often be the 'first line' of communications, meaning that this role is perfect for both honing one's craft, as well as gaining fast exposure to a vast and exciting network of peers.
