Logistics Coordinator

The logistics coordinator is responsible for facilitating communication betweenproduction, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supplychain. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and propermovements of shipments- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary- Track and fix shipping errors- Manage distribution and shipment budgets- Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards- Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized- Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages- Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory- Evaluate new inventory, ensuring it's ready to ship**Company ProfileAscent Foods is a frozen food manufacturer specializing in fruits, vegetables, blendsand stir fries.
