.Job Description SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of transportation, import, export, and logistics processes for materials associated with Aero business Contractual Services Agreements (CSA) and transactional (TX) projects. The Logistics Coordinator is an integral part of the team supporting assigned service agreements, plants, and customers. This role requires accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives within Power Services.The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesAs the Logistics Coordinator, you will:Be responsible for import operations, work with customs brokers in the clarification of inquiries, providing the correct paperwork and correct shipping documents as required.Coordinate with Customer Services Leaders (CSL), customers, and internal stakeholders the transport and export of parts, modules, and engines.Advise on the best scheme under Customs laws to comply with import and export regulations.Define the transport plan and select carriers. Organize the load of the carrier. Manage suppliers through final delivery.Coordinate with internal stakeholders the information of AES (Automated Export System) or the Entry document corresponding to the export or import operation.For TX shipment deliveries, coordinate with the Service Center and Parts Group the receipt in the correct entry customs in Mexico, CAC, or Andean region.Coordinate shipments with a focus on cost optimization.Coordinate the national freights for delivery on sites, confirm with a Proof of Delivery, and issue the POs for those services.Coordinate the international freights for the export operations.Be responsible for all goods planning and logistics.Track & communicate logistics project execution, considering alternative scenarios to succeed in alignment with predicting obstacles.Be responsible for logistics demand placement including parts requests, repair scheduling, and engines and modules temporary importation and exportation processes.Support CSL as needed in customer communication, completion of logistics projects, and customer relationship deliverables.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.Proven experience in a logistics or customs operations position.Demonstrated language skills in Spanish and English.Desired CharacteristicsKnowledge & experience of logistics within the power generation services, industrial, and manufacturing industry.Domain knowledge of Mexico customs regulations.Proficient in IT systems with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.Good financial knowledge and commercial/contractual experience.Demonstrated communication & organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills
