PURPOSEThe Logistics Tracking Coordinator will work in direct partnership with the Operations and Booking teams to maintain open lines of communication with our customers and carriers ensuring the timely completion of first-class service for all shipments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProactively contact carriers and customers to ensure pickup and delivery appointments are set and trucks are in route when expectedComplete data entry after obtaining track and trace updates on shipmentsCoordinate and assist with the collection of appropriate documents from carriersMaintain constant and clear communicate with carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of all shipmentsHandle a high volume of calls and emails dailyMaximize the productivity and workflow of the department by emphasizing load board priorities, efficiencies, and board coverageProvide support and resolution to customer problems following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalate to proper business function as needed to help maintain high quality customer satisfaction.Serve as back-up coverage to support additional needs of other department team members to ensure complete client satisfactionREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESExceptional attention to detailService mentality, positive and effective communicatorWillingness to learn, improve, and receive coaching/constructive feedbackMust be willing to work through unexpected problems to find a reasonable solutionDetail-oriented and problem-solving skillsAbility to work professionally and effectively with a diverse group of individualsAdvance technology skills with a strong focus on data entry, Microsoft Office products, and email correspondenceAbility to quickly learn and navigate through multiple systems proficientlyAbility to self-manage and proactively assume tasks, and communicationsQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, or equivalentAssociates or College Degree preferred1+ years' experience in administrative support role preferred1+ years' experience in customer services role preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: The work schedule of this position will be determined based on the organizational needs; it will be subject to change based on business demands and will require work outside of standard business hours.
