.Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Logistics & Customs Supervisor.
**What you'll do**:**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:To comply with all Eaton's international and domestic legal and transportation requirements while following Eaton's guidance and deploy Corporate Strategy to Cuautitlan operation observing all the time the applicable legislation.Responsible to coordinate import and export operation in the company for all materials & fixed assets, in compliance with Mexican Customs and foreign laws.Ensure that all GTM policies and procedures are implemented & well documented, performing occasional internal reviews and identifying compliance issues that call for formal attention.Leader of OEA and C-TPAT certifications.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:A.
Responsible to ensure compliance to the Mexican and International LawsB.
Responsible to manage the Inventory Control system in compliance with the ANNEX 24 requirements.
Responsibility of the TSMX system Health.C.
Review Import & Export manifests (also known as pediments) processed at Customs.
Perform internal reviews, audit import and export manifests to identify / detect discrepancies or mistakes and request amendments as needed.
Record Keeping.D.
Support Eaton Cuautitlan and Eaton Bussmann with import and export transactions at customs ensuring the Import & Export documents are following Mexican and International regulations, record keeping, customs broker instructions, INEGI & IMMEX control, management, reports, PROSEC management, suppliers' documents audit.E.
Fixed Assets Control to ensure compliance with Legal regulationsF.
Support programs and projects to take advantage of Free Trade Agreements (including management of certificates of origin) and other duty-savings opportunities and operating efficiency.G.
Ensure the accuracy of certificates of origin to customers or USMC (United Estates, Mexico and Canada Agreement) requirements.H.
Ensure the virtual transferences between Eaton - Suppliers /Customers are executed on time.I.
Freight Management.
Create and deploy strategy to reduce and control freight spent.J.
Coordinate the import and export processes regarding operation such as dealing with carriers, sea freight lines, airfreight lines, freight forwarders and brokers to get materials in a timely manner and ensure accuracy and compliance to law requirements.K.
Responsible to always provide visibility of the inbound and outbound shipments.
Responsible for Logistics routes optimization and Freight cost management.L.
Develop risk management strategies to avoid non-compliance and file compliance reports with regulatory bodies.
**Qualifications**:- Degree qualification in Foreign Trade, International Trade, or related discipline- Proficiency in Customs Law, Origin Laws, 24 Annex for IMMEX, Free Trade Agreements regulation knowledge.- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mexican and International customs trade law framework
