Quantum Supply Chain Operations is looking for a key member to add to our Logistics and Trade Compliance team.
The Logistics/Trade Specialist will oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of Quantum materials and track the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive products on time.
In addition, this person will be responsible for overseeing Export and Import documentation for data accuracy and record retention.This position will interface with the following groups (not all inclusive): Supply chain, engineering, new product development, freight forwarders, suppliers, distribution centers, and internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to logistics.
**Responsibilities**- Schedule and track inbound/outbound shipments including but not limited to booking returns and scheduling white glove type services for customer installations.- Provide day-to-day support preparing EU/NL export documents including but not limited to commercial Invoice and packing list validation and HTS Classification- Ensure materials are delivered to customers per shipment criteria/instructions.- Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs.- Request PODs and provide BOLs/HAWBs as needed.- Update and maintain freight matrices.- Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.- Point of contact for regional order management team- Respond to issues and escalations.- Generate Export documentation as needed and ensure data accuracy (including but not limited to: HS Codes and ECCN codes, etc.
)- Retain applicable import and export documentation in accordance with EU Regulations**Sills and Qualifications**- Expertise in supply chain/logistics functions: logistics and trade compliance- 3+ years of experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics role- 3 - 5 years of experience MX Import/Export Controls, US Imports- 3 years of experience HTS Classifications, ECCN, etc.- Basic knowledge of MX Export Controls and how they tie to US/EU Export Controls- Understanding of Denied Party Screening requirements.- Experience in gathering and analyzing data/information to address complex problems.- Information Technology Industry experience highly desirable
