OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Logistics General, you will be working directly with Fastenal's suppliers, branches, fleet, and distribution centers on a variety of transportation matters related to supply chain
- excellent customer service is a top priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling transport for the Fastenal fleet at a National/International level
- Serving as an analyst for the intra-company help desk
- Assisting the Logistics Team in daily operations
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior customer service experience
