What will you do?
- As a logistics lean expert, you will participate in warehouse layout designs and improvements to increase internal material handling efficiency.
- Be responsible for all documentation appliable to material and information flow as work instruction, procedures, and standardized work.
- Design and development on new carts and rolling equipment that ensures the right delivery to the line.
- Issue recommendations to ensure the efficiency of internal material handling. Identify process inefficiencies and correct them under logistic project manager supervision.
- You will be challenging your colleagues to think about continuous improvement.
- You will be continually improving different processes, change processes and think about new processes in the warehouse.
- Work closely with your colleagues Quality Coordinators and Security Coordinators.
- You will make this happen by working in project teams on different projects for different types of clients in our warehouses. By providing support to the teams, employees and reflecting on their current processes, you will activate their thinking about lean.
- The goal will be working smarter and more efficient. You will be an advocate for the principles of lean, coach, motivate, and help the business as much as you can to improve the lean culture within Arvato.
- You will also advise the management team at Arvato why you think certain improvements are crucial for the success in the business.
What will you need to succeed?
- Industrial, mechanical, or related engineering bachelor's degree.
- +5 years' experience as industrial or process engineering, preferable with automotive background.
- Proactive mindset with excellent communication and self-motivation skills.
- Believe in Lean with strong Lean operation knowledge and experiences, capable to lead & motivate the team/company to drive Lean transformation.
- Proven track record in implementation of lean methods and improvement projects (Line balancing, SMED, VSD).
- Solid Experience in Coaching, Training and Moderation.
- SAP knowledge.
- Black Belt/Master Black Belt would be an advantage.
