**Responsibilities**:- Strategically plans and manages logistics and transportation- Plans and monitors outgoing deliveries- Keeps track of quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency- Researches ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers. Selects carriers and negotiates contracts and rates- Updates and evaluates metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements- Partners with Retail Logistics teams (our customers) at all levels within the organization to ensure strong relationships that continue to meet he Retailers expectations while maintain cost effective solutions- Works with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures- Ensures all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and regulations requirements- Resolves any arising problems or complaints- Supervises, coaches and trains Logistics team**Qualifications (Experience/Education)**:- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain (preferred)- 5+ years of proven working experience as a logistics manager/leader- Travel requirement to spend on average 20% with team in San Diego, 20% with team in Gardena and remaining 60% amongst teams in locations across Tijuana Mexico, adjusted as specific business needs arise- Intermodal coordination experience- Record of successful distribution and logistics management- Demonstrable ability to lead, coach and manage staff- Proficient in standard logistics software- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and handle multiple project- Bilingual in Spanish and English RequiredTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- DiurnoPregunta(s) de postulación:- Cual es su nível de inglés?Experiência:- Logistics Manager: 1 año (Deseable)Disponibilidad para viajar:- 50 % (Obligatorio)
