Responsible of the material required as spare parts or material for projects or sales are on the right place in time and form.
The logistic manager is responsible for plan and implement, when necessary, the site logistic area, with all infrastructure needed.
Responsible for the traffic of material, both local and imported, selecting the appropriate transportation procedures, minimizing the cost levels for this concept, selecting shipment methods according to the objectives of the company and the cost of inventories speed up the handling of critical material.
Responsible that the spare parts requested by the spare parts department of the different pfs, apt, mps, durr business units, arrive on the dates committed to our customers, coach the logistic service users the best practices.
Support the operation of the warehouse, control de inventory, supply reliable reports for the decision makers.
Develop a good and reliable communication with customs agent ensuring the best practices is in place.
Manage the site operation regarding logistic services, as warehouse, receiving material, ensure the correct preservation of the material in stock, training the team site for the correct procedures.
Responsible to plan and manage the erection of site warehouse when and where is necessary.
Analyse the market to propose better solution for temporal solutions like transportation problems, over cost, shortage of supplies.
Be aware about procedures and rules from customer to transport acceptance, warehouse on site, parts receiving, emission of goods recipient.
Your Skills Five or more years of possition related preferred.
Warehouses, inventories, flow of materials, foreign trade (import, export), international treaties, incoterms.
Knowledge in MRP for the management of materials, distribution, and inventory control.
Knowledge in shipments and multimodal transportation.
Management of Office and SAP.
