- Responsible for the coordination of all technical and personnel aspects related to product logistics processes at Pierburg.
- Define, design, document and coordinate Pierburg's logistics processes to ensure that the necessary components for the manufacturing processes are available in time, quality and cost.
- Drive the activities of the department towards the achievement of the annual strategic objectives.
- Oversee departmental objectives, promote continuous improvement systems to all team members
- Ensure proper planning in the manufacturing of components in order to meet delivery dates.
- Defining, implementing and coordinating all material flows within the company to ensure efficient manufacturing of products
- Oversight of company stock levels, ensuring correct material flow and stock rotation in accordance with customer and company requirements
- Degree or bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration
- Very good knowledge of materials procurement
- Experience in transportation management and customs management (national/international)
- Very good knowledge of lean management (Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Milkrun)
- Good knowledge of SAP MRP and APO
- Advanced level of English (B2)
- Willingness to travel (national and international)
