Location: Querétaro, Querétaro, MéxicoLanguage: Advanced English is a must.Travel: 20-30%Position SummaryThe Logistic & Planning Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in executing Buckman's strategic logistic and planning roadmap. He/She will be responsible for Planning and Logistics in Buckman Mexico. He/She will manage freight costs, inventory levels and have a significant influence over Perfect Order Results. He/She works in full collaboration with Sales and Operations teams to achieve excellent delivery levels.
Responsible for planning, programming, and management of material inventory.Works closely with Sales and operations teams to effectively plan deliveries.Analyzes orders in MRP based on sales forecast, stocks, and parameters.Coordinate monthly cycle inventory.Solve delivery issues, as well as opportunities, strengths, and threats for local and international freights.Plan purchasing of materials through the ERP system with effective management.Coordination of logistics and storage suppliers.Coordinate and manage distribution of logistics services achieving the best relationship between cost and quality of service.Coordinate and manage internal logistic services seeking for the safety, efficiency, and integrity of goods.Coordinate and manage PL3 warehousing services aligning with performance indicators.Build relationships with customers, tollers, distributors, suppliers as trust advisor.Supervise best practices between tollers and warehousing.Manage level of service given by warehouses and other related suppliers with good quality.Develops and maintains KPI's tracking tools and performance reporting.Monitors market and industry publications; provides summaries and key insights to leadership.Drives incremental value in logistics efforts by deploying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Communicates with suppliers and internal stakeholders on root cause analysis and resolution of quality, service, or other supplier performance issues.Competencies Needed for SuccessStrong communication skills and ability to build consensus.Excellent data analysis skills.Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.Strong skills with diagnosing and resolving complex issues and opportunities within business planning and logistics models.Exceptional analytical decision-making skills.Must have successful experiences.Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organization skills.Highly Desirable ExperiencesSAP software experience.
Minimum Requirements to ApplyBachelor's degree or equivalent in Planning and Logistics, business, finance, mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline.5+ years of experience in planning and logistics, in a position where he/she had to look outside the company to find superior alternatives for logistics.Experience on planning focused in commercialization (production is a plus).Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organization skills.Advanced English level.#LI-CL1
