Work Shift: Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m Responsibilities: Develop Quality Control Procedures: Create and implement specific quality control procedures for logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Conduct Quality Audits: Perform regular quality audits of logistics operations and vendor facilities to ensure adherence to established quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Analyze Operational Data: Use AWS tools to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, such as defect rates, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores, generating actionable insights. Lead Corrective Action Plans: Oversee the development and execution of corrective action plans for quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of outcomes. Implement Training Programs: Design and deliver training sessions for staff on quality control processes, AWS tools, and regulatory compliance to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills. Manage Customer Complaints: Analyze and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues, tracking trends and working cross-functionally to implement improvements. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure quality objectives are met, participating in regular meetings to align on goals and progress. Minimum Requirements: Fluent English is a must. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality control within the logistics sector, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Proficiency in AWS (Amazon Web Services), including data analytics and reporting tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
