**Vacante para la empresa North American Production Sharing de México en Tijuana, Baja California**:Position Summary:The Transportation Specialist is responsible for all Inbound and Outbound Transportation related administrative activities including general freight inquiries, container and carrier track and trace, pre-ship order routing change requests, post-ship order routing change requests, in-transit distressed shipment resolution, freight claims processing, supporting Supply Chain and Customer Experience queries, etc.Responsibilities and Essential Functions:- Review and track inbound traffic-related activities coordinating with vendors, procurement, supply chain, freight forwarders, custom brokers, drayage carriers to ensure that documentation is correct and that products are arriving on time to customers and distribution centers.- Track outbound traffic-related activities in support of customers, sales, and customer service to ensure that daily transportation requirements are being met.- Respond to all pre-ship and post-ship order routing change requests and coordinate the required changes with the appropriate carriers.- Resolve all issues relating to in-transit distressed shipments.- Arrange for carrier pickups as needed.- Provide freight quotes for all expedited service requests.- Log all critical transactions.- Process all freight claims.- Input paper carrier invoice information in company's Transportation Management System for audit and payment purposes.- Maintain metrics / records for the Transportation Department.- Issue daily reports as required.- Contributor to departmental continuous improvement projects.- Other duties as required.- Responds to all inquiries from 3PL (Pre-receivers, Returns)- Assist 3PL with EDI order transmissions.Qualifications, Skills and Education:Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with change.- Must have excellent organizational, time planning, and communication skills.- Ability to operate with mínimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications:- Bilingual - English/Spanish- Transportation experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment.- Three or more years of experience working with a Freight Forwarder or 3PL.Working conditions:- Evening and weekend work if required.- Requires some work in Shipping operation in non-temperature-controlled facility- May have extended periods of standing / walking**Nível de educación deseada**:Superior - titulado**Nível de experiência deseada**:Nível Experto**Función departamental**:Logística / Transporte**Industria**:Logistica y Cadena de Suministro**Habilidades**:- logistic specialist- bilingual
