Logistics Specialist I / Shared Services

This logistics specialist in our Monterrey Center of Excellence maximizes the use of our transportation management system to provide excellent service to our clients in the US.**What you'll do**- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the lifecycle of an order- Exceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectations- Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers- Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation- Leverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes- Monitor and resolve shipment data errors- Proactive analysis to prevent service failures- Proactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy- Professional and timely communications- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement- Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financials- Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflow**Basic Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree- 1 year logistics experience- Excellent English skills, verbal and written**Preferred Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in transportation management or logistics- Basic understanding of BI and Tableau reporting- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite**Experience**: Required- 1 year(s): 1 Year minimum of Logistics**Education**: Required- Bachelor or better**Skills**: Required- Bilingual English/Spanish
