This team member will work 5 days a week: Thursday through Monday during a regular day shift.This logistics specialist in our Monterrey Center of Excellence maximizes the use of our transportation management system to provide excellent service to our clients in the US.**What you'll do**- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the lifecycle of an order- Exceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectations- Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers- Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation- Leverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes- Monitor and resolve shipment data errors- Proactive analysis to prevent service failures- Proactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy- Professional and timely communications- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement- Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financials- Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflow**Basic Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree complete and at least one year of customer or carrier-facing work experience - OR - bachelor's degree started and at least 2 years of customer or carrier-facing work experience - OR - 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics work- Excellent English skills, verbal and written**Preferred Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in transportation management or logistics- Basic understanding of BI and Tableau reporting- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
