Logistics Specialist Iii

**What you'll do**
- Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the lifecycle of an order, effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes
- Customer order integration error correction: Validate the flow of order data between customer(s) and Uber Freight, including canceling, adding, or reconstructing orders based on the type of error received and escalating communication to customer(s) and suppliers when an error cannot be corrected.
- Proactive and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation
- PFEP (plan for every part) Management: Basic quality verification and data entry into Orloe system, escalation, and follow-up to suppliers, customer contacts, and internal operations team.
- Train customer users on the TMS (transportation management system), leveraging knowledge of customer business practices and workflow
- Identify patterns within data and recommend actions for improvement
- Utilize TMS to actively manage on-time performance and automation objectives
- Monitor and resolve shipment data errors
- Proactive analysis to prevent service failures
- Proactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy
- Professional and timely communications
- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement
- Other tasks as assigned

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree complete and at least one year of customer or carrier-facing work experience - OR - bachelor's degree started and at least 2 years of customer or carrier-facing work experience - OR - 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics work
- Excellent English skills, verbal and written

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Basic understanding of business intelligence and Tableau reporting
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
