**Logistics Supervisor**
**Objective of the position**
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, ensures accurate and timely picking of customer orders, coordination of outbound freight in a cost effective manner, packing and loading of shipments, safety and housekeeping of finished goods and shipping area, assures that stock room and warehouse inventory quantities on hand are accurate, and supervising the Distribution department personnel.
**Responsibilities**
Determines shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules (Parcel & LTL).
Coordinates the outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments according to company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
Responsible for administering the supply of raw material to production while keeping inventory quantities on hand accurate by performing adequate and regular cycle counts.
Directs the movement of shipments from shipping, storage, works areas, and to ensure an organized, safe, and efficient storage, transportation, and delivery of goods
Determines space planning and requirements for position of shipment in boxcars, trucks, and lays out position of shipment.
Resolves the routing and legal load limits of trucks according to the established schedules and weight limits of states.
Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repairs, errors, or complaints.
Oversees all truck and forklift maintenance while coordinating and monitoring driver, vehicle, and load records.
Prepares bill of lading while compiling and maintains detailed records of unfilled orders.
Works with customs and make sure all shipments are getting cleared in a timely manner.
Works with different LTL carries and truck load carries to get the best pricing.
Work with FedEx and UPS on parcel shipments and manage the daily pickups.
Responsible for training and providing work direction to assigned personnel.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates, and conducts annual performance reviews to provide continual feedback on both positive and negative performance.
Guarantee ethical practices among the work team, fostering respect, tolerance, inclusion and communication, and following up on any offense against these values that has been observed, reported to or escalated to the position in regards to the Psychosocial Risks Prevention Policy, the Protocol to Attend Work Violence Reports and any other applicable regulation.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Advanced english
- MRP
- Excel advanced
