- Safety and sustainability
|
- Ensure zero accident at workplace through:
- Identify unsafe behavior/unsafe condition/nearmiss
- Coach the people on site (including truck drivers) about safety.
- Implement countermeasures or improvement to reduce and mitigate safety risks/nearmiss
Excellence in execution
|
- Execute the warehousing activities to meet the customer service requirements by reacting to any operational issue
- Provide clear instructions to employees on daily tasks
- Monitor daily progress of warehousing activities, in terms of tasks completed, pending and expected.
- Ensure warehouse environment and operations comply with 5S principles.
- Record relevant logistics data in required systems (eg. ERP & WMS). Capture data for Daily Control System (DCS) and KPIs reporting on a daily basis.
- Perform root cause analysis in case of discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
Asset Management
|
- Maintain assets and equipment according to the applicable regulations and ensure correct utilization
- Ensure forklift trucks are maintained in good working condition according to the applicable regulations.
- Anticipate need for replacement or upgrade of warehousing equipment and assets.
Management reporting
|
- Prepare accurate and timely warehouse data for management reporting
- Analyse warehouse performance using standard systems (Excel, WMS, Power BI) and identify trends based on management reports.
Warehouse planning
|
- Organise resources to ensure execution of the warehousing activities to achieve customer service requirements
- Plan and organise staff and resources for day to day warehousing activities.
- Provide clear instructions to the employees on daily tasks.
- Collect and record required data for DCS and KPI reporting.
Quality Assurance
|
- Maintain proper storage conditions for each type of good according to HEINEKEN rules, standards, procedures and local regulations.
- Recognise product quality issues in the warehouse by inspecting the outer packaging quality of all goods.
- Separate quality defective goods in stock and ensure they are handled in line with existing procedures
- Participate in warehouse and distribution centre 5S implementation.
- Perform traceability when needed
Inventory management
|
- Accurately register all goods movements in the inventory management system.
- Execute stock counting procedures in line with OpCo procedures.
- Ensure timely correction of inventory data in case of discrepancy with physical inventory.
- Investigate reasons and report on inventory data inaccuracy and implement corrective measures.
- Use appropriate inventory control systems in operations (WMS, ERP and Excel).
- Translate traceability, priority rules (like FIFO/FEFO), expiry date and freshness policies into practical work instructions.
LSP Management
|
- Collaborate with LSP operations team.
- Chair operations meetings with the LSP.
- Collect and prepare data used in LSP KPI dashboard.
- Embed HEINEKEN and local standards in LSP operations.
- Collaborate and ensure the supervisors of LSPs can schedule their resource working by shift to meet our warehouse resource requirement.
