.DESCRIPTIONThe Loss Prevention Manager leads the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset protection within the assigned locations.
Responsibilities include Theft investigations, Workplace Violence/Workplace Incident Management, interviews, and Physical Security of buildings.- This role is not remote; the workplace is Guadalajara, Jal.- Working journal from Monday to Friday visiting different buildings across Bajío Region.- This role requires availability to travel according to business requirements (mostly common 30% of the time).
The Manager reports to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager responsible for the Country.- This role requires working on shifts and requires availability to role shifts that involve day or night operations in order to support business operations.Key job responsibilitiesDrive the process by which compliance with all corporate loss prevention program standards is attained.Serve as a member of a coordinated team of Loss Prevention in relentlessly pursuing improvements to company-wide loss prevention program efforts.Perform interior and exterior Loss Prevention audits of the First, Half, and Last Mile facilities, being alert to and responding to any security or Loss Prevention issues noted.Encourage and promote Loss Prevention within the workforce exercising integrity and ethical methods.Support the development and deployment of cost-effective security systems and solutions to mitigate risks and Modus Operandi.Establish and use risk assessment processes to identify and prioritize risks and mitigation means.Liaise and cooperate with law enforcement and industry bodies to support Amazon interests.Liaise and cooperate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to effectively resolve exposures and mitigate risks.Positively reflect the Amazon.Com security/Loss Prevention department through public relations and customer service; set a personal example of the highest level.Demonstrate knowledge of loss prevention best practices in supply chain, distribution, and delivery centers to include: application of physical security systems, investigation techniques/laws of arrest, management of contract guard agencies, delivery carriers' loss mitigation techniques.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSCompleted Bachelor's Degree.B2+ English advanced level.5+ years experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment.Solid experience as responsible for the execution and strategy for Loss Prevention activities for a physical site (Fabric, warehouse, retail store, etc.
)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSolid experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and video review systems.Solid experience in security services, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control.Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills
